Lake Anderson
At one time, Anderson was a beautiful city. Now its just some place you want to leave behind. I was born and raised here. I went to 25th street elementary school, Madison Heights Jr high and MHHS. Then IVY tech on 38th street. As a kid, I went to the Anderson FREE fair and the midnight parade. None of these things exist anymore. We would go to the Mounds Mall to shop, hang out and watch movies. Now that is all gone. Anderson is a town with NO legacy for its citizens. We had a BIG high school basketball rivalry between MHHS, Anderson, and Highland. That was an awesome time to look forward too each year. Now we have a Christmas parade in November. What a joke. We should just go ahead and turn the entire thing into Lake Anderson!
