Here is My Story.

Here is a brief summery of my life in music. There is way too much to cover here, but you get the picture. From playing piano recitals at age 5 , to trumpet in junior and senior high school band. Then landing a gig  with a Muncie based show band called   GOLD RUSH in 1982.  I was in another band called Change Of Pace in the mid to late 1980’s. And for a short time I jammed with The Diamond Show Band AKA Turner Brothers a local R&B group. I also worked with a local country band called Shaman for a little while. And I did a few solo gigs here and there. In the summer of 1990 I joined The LIL’ Ramblin’Band,   that later became  WANTED. Yet another band from Muncie.  I was in that group off and on for nearly 25 years.  During that time, I also worked with Southern Breeze  and Southern Express. Finally I ended up here playing music with a great bunch of friends in Somewhere South.  What an amazing experience it has been for me. I have been blessed by GOD to have had such opportunities. And so there it is. Thats my story, and I’m sticking to it!

My favorite keyboards

Some of my favorite gear to own and use has always been YAMAHA. YAMAHA CP 70 b Electric grand piano, QX1 MIDI sequencer, MOTIF ES 8

One of my first synthesizers was a KORG Poly 61. I got that synthesizer way back in 1982. That was before M I D I was available. What a great keyboard it was.

I am liking the new KRONOS and the OASYS as well. KORG. What a great synthesizer company. I love it!

MKB 1000 MIDI keyboard controller, RD 1000 Digital Piano, Planet S sound module, SUPER Jupiter sound module, W-30 music workstation, S-50 Sampling keyboard, Fantom X 7 synthesizer. I should have bought stock in ROLAND.

I should also mention the amazingly wonderful ensoniq TS 12 programmable polyphonic synthesizer workstation. This company is unfortunately no longer in business, but the TS 12 was one of the great ones for sure. I loved that keyboard, and used it to write many of my best songs. And they were built in the USA.
