Some birthday thoughts

Happy Birthday Jeffrow!

61 years ago today Cathy’s Clown was number 1 on the Billboard charts, and my deer sweet momma was having a baby. My life has been such an adventure so far. I wonder what amazing things are waiting for me to discover.  I guess its fair to say I have had a good run. I am so grateful for the wonderful people in my life, and for all the encouragement, love and support they have given me throughout the years. And I am most thankful to my LORD and savior Jesus Christ. I am thankful to GOD for giving me this life. We tend to take so much for granted these days. I am guilty of this as much as anyone. But I am also aware of this, and I am addressing it. As I grow older, I am becoming more and more thankful for the little things that make up a life. 

I want to say thank you so very much to everyone who took a minute to say hi or wish me a happy birthday today. Believe me when I say it truly made my day.  I am so blessed with such wonderful friends and family. Blessed with a home. Blessed with the amazing gift of music in my life. Blessed with my best buddy Barnabas. So many things that make life worth living. 

Over the last few months, I have lost more friends than I care to think about, and those losses have made the preciousness of life more evident than it ever was. We never know when we will say goodbye for the last time. Hopefully, I will be here for a long time but you just dont know. So I am going to try to be a better version of myself each and every day GOD gives me.  I am only human, but I am trying.   Life Is Good!!
