One Possible Future

For many years, I had a pretty nice collection of pet snakes here at the compound. As time went by, I downsized that hobby until I was left with my TWO favorites. Victor Newman and CAIN. Both quite large reticulated pythons. About three years ago, I fell off a ladder and broke my arm in two places. A year later I had Carpel Tunnel surgery on both hands and this left me uncomfortable with working alone with 100 pound plus snakes. So I reluctantly sold them. Lately, I find myself missing the joy of working with these great creatures. So I have been thinking about getting a smaller snake such as a Ball Python. The one pictured below is a morph called a Blue Eyed Leucistic Ball Python. They don’t grow much larger than 5 or 6 feet in length so I will be able to handle it with no problem. And finding food will be much easier than it was with the BIG boys. Mice vs. 10 pound rabbits. I will keep you posted.
