FINALLY!
I can hardly believe it but, after over 40 years as a semi professional musician, this weekend I was finally able to pay a long overdue visit to the Holy Grail of music super stores. My daughters Tori and Ail took me to Sweetwater Sound in Fort Wayne Indiana. And I had a blast. I got some quality hands on time with a few of my dream keyboards. Most notably here was the Roland Fantom 8 music workstation and the Waldorf Quantum wavetable synthesizer. And just let me say right here that both of these boards are fantastic! They even have a kind of synthesizer / keyboard museum of sorts. And you know what I saw in there? TWO of the keyboards I use to own and play back in the early 1980’s. DAMN! I am getting old. If you look carefully, you might recognize a KORG Poly 61 synthesizer and of corse a YAMAHA CP 80 B Electric Grand Piano in these photographs. I have been so blessed to have had the opportunities afforded me over the years. Many of them were thanks to my Number 1 fan. MOM
