This project was very interesting for me. In doing some research on the topic of Every Day Carry, I have learned much. One thing is for sure. You have to make it YOUR OWN. Everyone has differing ideas and no two EDC bags are going to look the same. I had loads of fun building this thing and it will serve me well for years to come. I highly recommend this project. Just remember to have fun, take your time, research, and make it your own thing.
I ended up with a hybrid E D C (every day carry) pack and a Tech Bag. It is a little of both. Items I would want with me as I move through the day, and of coarse, my gadgets and all the things I need to make the gadgets work. This started out as two separate projects. Morphing them into one, seemed like a good idea at the time. However, the end result is a fairly beefy package that weight over 20 pounds. I myself am not bothered by the weight. And as time goes by, I imagine this thing will evolve somewhat. So we can revisit it in a few months to see what if any changes I have made. But for now, I am thinking BIG Agnes as I call her, is just about perfect for my needs. Have you ever thought of doing a project like this? As most things in life, your interpretation of what an E D C or Tech Bag should look like, may tend to very from mine. As it should be… The key is to have fun with it. Make it yours.
