another project

This week I find myself beginning a new project having to do with putting together a backpack to carry my tech as I move through the day. Unlike my last project, I want to keep this one as tech oriented as possible. And thus keeping the overall weight somewhat under control. And so I have chosen a smaller 14 liter Aer City Pack as the foundation of the project in hopes that a smaller pack will force me into making some choices on its overall content and weight. With my previous tech/EDC hybrid bag I learned that if the bag is too heavy, I am not as likely to grab it as I walk out the door. I still love my 511 RUSH messenger bag and I take it on long trips. But this new bag will be in use much more often. Or, at least that is the plan. I guess time will tell.
