The decade of the 90’s was pretty good for me as far as music goes.You have probably heard me briefly mention my experiences with opening shows for Nashville acts before. I was blessed to be in a position that afforded me these awesome gigs.The band I was in at the time, WANTED was given the opportunity to do a show at The Indy 500 on race day for three years in a row. We somehow won a battle of the bands contest at A Little Bit of Texas AKA 8 Second Saloon, sponsored by 95.5 WFMS. That was the beginning of some great times for us. I have put together a list of some of the country singers we opened for and added it below. In doing this research, I was saddened to learn that some of these great acts are no longer with us.
