Plan B
by Jeff LeMond
Entanglement can be spooky.
Einstein had it right.
Knowing when to give them space,
or hug them close and tight.
To illustrate how much we care in times of darkest woe.
Understanding circumstance, and never letting go.
It’s good to know they’ve got your back
with situations bleak.
In roughest times the best of us are anything but weak.
It’s good to have a leaning post to keep us right and true.
To know someone is by your side no matter what you do.
An unrelenting watcher, to guide us through this storm.
When life becomes as cold as ice,
their friendship keeps us warm.
Imagine for a moment, how sad to be alone.
To not know true entanglement,
survival on your own.
When all you know are passers by, such abject misery.
So sad to be the last resort.
So sad to be plan B.
