welcome to my journal
I make it a point to write in a personal journal each day out of habit. Here is a kind of mid ground between my personal journal, Day ONE and the stuff you might see in Jeffrow’s BLOG found elsewhere on this website.
My Thoughts
09 23 21
Its late but I can’t sleep right now. Perhaps its because I didn’t get up till 3:00 p m Wednesday afternoon. I have no idea as to why that happened. Anyway, I guess I didn’t miss much. Hump Day was dreary as fuck. COLD and rainy with wend gusts. Basically your average autumn day in Indiana.
The good news is, Our furnace is working nicely. I just got a box of replacement filters for it from amazon on Tuesday. The bad news is, our furnace is on. $$$
It certainly looks as if all I have to do here is bitch like the world owes me something, but believe me, I am very grateful for what I have. It is just my nature to be a curmudgeon from time to time.
On an even brighter note, YETI has finally come out with a larger coffee mug. The one I currently own and love is the 14 ounce YETTI Rambler Travel Mug A K A coffee mug. Well, last night I saw the new one in an advertisement and it is a thing of beauty. Just like mine only BIGGER with a whopping 24 ounce capacity. HELL yes I am going to buy one!
Also I should mention here that AEW Dynamite on TNT this Wednesday evening, was freaking awesome! I kinda wish I had an audio book to dive into right now but “no credits” I might break down and buy some. You can’t just buy one. I have to buy three at a time and that is like $35.00 and I don’t really want to spend that much. I need to think on this for a minute. You should check out audible.com I have been a member forever. And I highly recommend it! Here are a few of the books I have.
I just placed my order and she is on her way to the compound. Yes, Life is good!

My Bucket List
09 24 21
Have you ever thought of what you would put in your bucket list? I never did until lately, that is. There are a few things I would love to do before I ascend to a higher plane. I shall endeavor to list some of them here if for no other reason than entertaining anyone who might be reading this. My list might look a bit boring to some, but keep in mind, I am no daredevil. And I am in my sixties, so be kind.
I always wanted to go up in a hot air balloon on a nice warm sunny summer day.
Another dream for me is to go on a day trip on a train. Perhaps to Chicago or Cincinnati.
I would love to attend a LIVE AEW event if I could get good seats.
This sounds crazy but I always wanted to go up to the top of the Empire State Building in New York City.
Learn to scuba dive, probably in a pool. No sharks!!
I always wanted to take the Grand Canyon tour.
Visit Carlsbad Caverns.
Visit the Sequoia National Park. (see the redwood forest)
I would LOVE to walk across The Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco.
Go on a cruise somewhere warm and exotic.
So here is the short list of things I would do if it were at all possible. What do you have on your bucket list? Everyone should do this, before its too late.

My evening
09 25 21
Somewhere South had a show this evening at the Alexandrea Eagles. I am so blessed to be able to go before a crowd of people and play music. Add to that the camaraderie of some wonderful band mates, and we actually get paid for this stuff. What an amazing thing this is. Praise GOD!

Five In One
The weather here in Indiana is just now starting to feel like winter and as you know, it gets very cold here. Lucky for me, I just got a NEW winter jacket from 511tacticle.com and I am absolutely loving it. So the one I got is called the 5 in 1. It is by far, the warmest coat I have ever owned. Originally designed for first responders, this thing is overbuilt for comfort and durability. Check out the YouTube reviews below. And check out my latest project.
Spreading the Word
I never had much faith in chiropractic as a real means of treating pain or injuries. That is until last week. So, back on October the 2nd I did something to my back as I was brushing my dog. I was in so much pain it required a visit to the emergency room. My doctor referred me to a local chiropractor and it was a real life changer. I walked into the office in rather severe pain. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was about a 7. When I left her office that day, I walked out totally pain free. It was nothing short of miraculous. I can’t say enough good things here to properly express my gratitude to Dr Robin Baker and her staff. Life is good when we are pain free! PTL

Thinking about my dad
This time of year always gets me to thinking back on loved ones who are no-longer with us. Every time I hear this song I think about my dad. I sure miss him.
Check out my audible library and try not to be scared.
Made on a Mac
I used Apple products to build this website. Relying heavily on my iMac and the iPad Pro. Most of the photographs are from various iPhones. And I used GarageBand and LOGIC to record much of the music.

Every now and then, we could all use a little spiritual booster shot. Here is one of my very favorite songs.
After my experience with hurting my back, and the fact that this year I turn 62. Well, I think it is high time I get back into shape. I have devised a workout plan and it is my intention to stick to it. Most of this workout is based on stretching and cardio exercises. As weather permits, walking will be a component in this plan. Free weights, jump road and a weighted body bar will be used as well. Everything in this workout is flexible based on what I am feeling on a particular day. 15 minutes is a baseline. As long as I have 60 seconds to rest between circuits. And ofcorse, music will play a very important role in keeping the mood going .
I am in the process of building my own gym.
